If you study kidneys, you are a nephrologist.  If you study clouds, you are a nephologist.  The next time you go to the doctor for a kidney problem, make sure to double-check that there is an "r" in his/her title.  Otherwise, your doctor may have only a nebulous understanding of your renal system.
